Most of my experience is in live audio events, but I’ve also worked broadcast A1.

I have spent the most time on Yamaha consoles (CL, QL, TF, and the beloved LS) and Avid Profile series. Of course, I’ve also worked on PreSonus and Behringer every now and then, too =). With enough time, I can learn any console.

Most of my A2 experience is in broadcast audio, so lots of IFB and comms (primarily ClearCom). But I have engineered and set up monitors for live events as well.

I also have experience coordinating RF systems with RF Explorer and Wireless Workbench.

Even when not doing A2 work I have experience coordinating wireless systems of various manufacturers. I use my personal RF Explorer and Wireless Workbench most of the time unless the venue has dante enabled receiver that will interface with WWB7.

A well tuned PA makes all the difference in how a venue sounds. This is a new skill for me, so the price is low in comparison. =)

I also offer a combined console & PA tune where I spend a rehearsal and a weekend with you (assuming church context). I’ll work through the entire signal chain to tune things from mic to speaker cone.

The last 3 years I’ve worked on several film sets capturing dialog audio.

As of March 2024 I have access to the following gear:

Zoom F3 (32-bit float 2ch recorder)

Zoom F6 (24-bit 8ch recorder)

Shotgun mics

Sennheiser EK500 kit (2 channels) with lavs

Sennheiser EK100 kit (2 Channels) with lavs

I can rent as needed with enough notice. Cost is generally passed on to the client in part or in full. Slowly building out my gear so fewer rentals are needed. =)

I have a few Waves plugin bundles that I leverage to restore audio and mix for post-production. Dialog is my specialty but I have mixed some music as well. Check out the plugins and audio tools I own on

Most of my LD and L1 experience is in the church context on Jands Vista and GrandMA.

I’ve also worked on studio lighting with Onyx and ChamSys.

Most of my E2 experience is on a broadcast truck for corporate live stream or live-to-tape events with 6-8 cameras, audio, shading, etc.

I have experience as a handheld camera op, sticks, and robo/PTZ.

I also have experience as a general AV hand for audio, lighting, and video.

In corporate AV I’ve coordinated breakout rooms and led setup/strike teams. Making a plan for which gear (and which RF channels) are allocated for each room is the best part of corporate AV. =)
