Let’s work together to fix the broken gear.
The video above explains what kind of “gear service” I offer, but in case you can’t watch that or don’t have the time, here’s the gist of it: if you have stuff that isn’t working right, I can come in and get you out of the jam. I also offer two gear-related retainers: tech support and maintenance. If any of that interests you, reach out using one of the links below! I’m a small business, and maintaining professional AV equipment and systems is my main niche.
I also offer services such as coaching leaders, integrating new equipment, general project management, and freelance AV and film labor.
Tech Support - One-Off Project
Is a piece of gear broken? We can fix that.
Is there a lighting fixture that isn’t working quite right? We can fix that.
The wireless mics are popping and dropping out! Great dance moves, but not great for wireless mics, we can fix that.
Tech Support - Retainer
A Tech Support Retainer means we act as your first line of defense when tech issues come up. We provide message, phone, and, when needed, in-person support. We maintain a ticket system for you and can fix most issues that pop up, leaving you to get back to the other things you have to do.
Maintenance - One-Off Project
A Maintenance Project involves taking care of functioning gear by removing dust, polishing lenses, cleaning, updating firmware, etc. It’s all the stuff you know you should get to at some point, it just never actually gets put on the calendar… It’s alright, I can help with that.
Maintenance - Retainer
A Maintenance retainer means we take care of your gear for you. Dust removal, cleaning, firmware updates, and remote backups are all parts of a maintenance retainer. Most lighting fixture manufacturers suggest cleaning the fixture every 2 weeks. =) That’s not usually realistic (or necessary), but it also should be done more than every few years.
Integration
Integration is a fancy way of saying we figure out what you want to do with AV technology, find the right gear, design it all to work together, install it, then train you how to use it.
For example, if your soundboard is starting to show its age by having channels die, faders stick, and screens dying… it may be time for a new one or time to get that one repaired. That’s what we do.
